Welcome to the struggle to free Southeast Asia from dictatorship. The world has, thankfully, begun to take note that all Thais do not love the monarchy, that in reality the great majority are viciously subjected to – little more than victims of – the laws of lèse majesté that enable the Thai monarchy to block their democratic aspirations. We Thais feel deeply for the pain of the people in Myanmar. We admire their courage.
